Encore Recital Request

Encore recitals are held in various Washington area churches and recital halls. Attendance is open and free to the public. Recitals are usually scheduled for 3:00 p.m., but participants and attendees should check the AMSF calendar or Events page for details of upcoming recitals.

Apply for a recital by submitting a request 10 days prior to the recital. Preference is given to performers who have not played recently, or at all, in a prior Encore recital.

An adult who is not a member of AMSF but who studies with a teacher who is a member of one of the area music teacher associations may participate in an Encore recital for a $17 fee.
