I hope this finds you well! June is a festive time for graduations and weddings. If you have those happening in your family, congratulations! If not, there is plenty to enjoy this month, including our own Salon and Intermezzo Recitals, as well as Community Outreach.

AMSF Conference
DUO MUNDI, the superb piano duo made up of George Lopez and Guli Muharmuti, will grace our conference this year and discuss Important but Lesser-known Composers. This special event will be on Sunday, August 30th, 1-5 p.m. at the Jordan Kitts Fairfax Showroom. Many of you have heard DUO MUNDI give us a lecture. If you have, then you know how knowledgeable and entertaining they are! DUO MUNDI will talk about composers you may or may not have heard, beginning with American composers, as part of our way to celebrate the nation’s 250th anniversary! Please click here to RSVP!
Beyond AMSF
Our Beyond AMSF column features members who use or have used their music skills in the community outside AMSF. I am so proud of members who have shared their stories.
