Performance Opportunities with AMSF
Full members of AMSF may attend and participate in the following series of student recitals for soloists and ensembles. Additional performance opportunities are offered by participation in Community Outreach performances. In-person event participants are required to be vaccinated.
See the Calendar of Events for planned upcoming performances.
Cadenza Recitals
Cadenza Recitals are held in private homes and are intended primarily for members of intermediate to advanced levels of skill and experience who favor an informal setting. Attendance is open to participants first and, space permitting, to additional audience. Members who wish to participate should contact the coordinator by email.

Duetto Recitals
Duetto Recitals are open to all instrumentalists. Piano duets (played on either one or two pianos) predominate, but the series is open to instrumentalists of all combinations. Playing duets is a good way for beginners or nervous performers to get used to performing, so we encourage players at all levels to take advantage of this series. We also encourage performers with different levels of experience to partner with one another. If you are interested in playing a duet and need a partner, contact the coordinator, and he/she will try to help you find a partner. Members who wish to participate should contact the coordinator by email.

Members who wish to participate should contact the Encore Coordinator by email. Those who wish to perform will need to provide the following information: title of piece; composer; performer’s name, instrument and teacher’s name. Performers are limited to 10 minutes for each Encore recital. Preference is given to performers who have not played recently, or at all, in a prior Encore recital.
