The December Intermezzo recital provided a wonderful collection of music from all eras and many styles. There were selections from the well-known keyboard favorites: Bach, Chopin, Mozart and Mendelssohn. There were also a few from less well-known composers: Cesar Franck, Leos Janacek, and Ernesto Lecuona. Mark Ross also treated us to a medley of Star Wars tunes as well as his own composition. A guitar solo began the program and a piccolo and piano duet concluded it. Abby Mason and Hala Tomey co-hosted the event which was held at Abby’s lovely Georgetown home.
